Physical Education

Children in all year levels have one Physical Education lesson per week.  Areas taught in Prep to Year 2 include:  dance, gymnastics, minor games and ball handling. In Year 3 to Year 6, major games and athletics are also introduced.


Interschool Sport

Children in Grades 5 and 6 will be given the opportunity to compete with children from

other local schools.  Sporting excellence is encouraged. 

Individuals and teams compete at District and State levels.  

 

Perceptual Motor Program (PMP)

All Prep children are involved in a
Perceptual Motor Program.                                     

Intensive Swimming Program

Opportunities are given to all students to
participate in an intensive swimming program.

Year Level Sport

Intra-school sport is played weekly at Years 3 - 6 and allows children to practise skills learnt during Physical Education Lessons.

Bike Education

Year 5 children take part in a Bike Education Program.  The program has been developed by the Road Safety and Traffic Authority to train students to ride their bikes safely on the road.
