You Can Do It Program

The “You Can Do It” program aims to provide all children with the foundations for achievement and social-emotional well being in all aspects of their lives.

It consists of four main foundations:

GETTING ALONG:

This value refers to the ability of school community members to interact positively with each other.  We will be tolerant, considerate and non judgemental.

PERSISTENCE:

This value refers to the ability of all school community members to persevere in all endeavours.

ORGANISATION:

This value refers to the ability of all school community members to set goals and manage time effectively.

CONFIDENCE:

This value refers to the ability to believe in oneself, to work independently, have an optimistic outlook and to recognise that making mistakes is a part of authentic learning.

Awards are given by staff to students who demonstrate these values in their day-to-day school lives.  These awards are presented at whole school assemblies.
